Help us ensure foster kids enter the school year with the school supplies they need
TRI HoldCo, Inc., TaxAudit, and Centenal Tax Group are excited to partner with Ticket to Dream Foundation again to help foster youth return to school with the tools they need to excel in the classroom. With over 200,000 school-aged children in foster care we need your help ensure foster kids can succeed in school whether learning at home or in the classroom. Across the country schools are developing plans on how students will learn this fall, but we know digital learning and less sharing supplies will mean students need back-to-school essentials more than ever. Your support will provide much needed school supplies, laptops, tech accessories, and even tutoring access.
Did you know? The average youth in foster care experiences 3 home changes and loses up to 6 months of academic progress with each move. They are already facing an uphill academic battle; the last thing they should be worried about is making sure they have the correct school supplies.
Helping ensure foster youth have what they need to learn allows them the best chance of catching up, building self-esteem and getting excited for the new year. Every pencil and dollar helps foster kids start the school year right!
